5 signs of high blood lipids
1. Periocular xanthomas: flat papules around the eyelids of the face, orange, rice-grain sized, oval, with clear borders
2. Palmar lines: about 50% of patients will have a yellow tumour in the wrinkles of the palm or fingers, which is an orange, flat, mildly raised line.
3. Ring of ageing: a greyish-white ring appears around the edge of the black eyeballs
